Diderot & Oplysningstiden/The Enlightenment

Franskmanden Diderot blev født for 300 år siden, og var hovedredaktør af Oplysningstidens vigtigste værk: "Den Store Franske Encyklopædi" (Encyklopædien, eller fornuftens ordbog over videnskab, kunst og arbejde, 1751-1777).

Encyclopædien var en samling af Oplysningstidens kamp for retten til viden, uafhængigt af statsmagtens og kirkens interesser.

Denise Diderot was born 300 years ago in France and he was the chief editor of Encyclopédie (Encyclopédie, ou dictionnarie raissonné des sciences, des arts et des métiers/Encyclopaedia or a Systematic Dictionary of the Sciences, Arts and Crafts, 1751-1777, 35 vol.
