A musician and poet from Estonia, Vootele has searched his way in music for a long time. He does rap as well as arrangements for Estonian folk music bands (Ars Apta and Puzle) and writes new compositions for dance performances and theater. His works are known for experimenting with different vocal styles and a wide spectrum of emotions.
Juan Pino’s groovy and poetic sound universe recalls the world roots and the magic of dreams. From his many travels he has gathered a collection of instruments including marimba, harmonicas, kalimba, guitars and various percussion. This takes a new life as an organic landscape for his poems in Spanish, under the name of Tropico del Cancer. Juan was born in Ecuador, grew up on the Alps and now lives in Copenhagen where he has been percussionist in bands such as Valravn, Suna and Trypical Cumbia, as well as singer-songwriter with Quemando Palabras.
