Nej til Israels deltagelse i Eurovision Song Contest 2014!

Igen i år deltager Israel i det europæiske Melodi Grand Prix. Det sker ved semifinalen torsdag den 8. maj i B&W Hallerne på Refshaløen.

Israel bruger bevidst kulturelle arrangementer til at brande sig. Israels deltagelse i Eurovisionen bidrager til at hvidvaske Israels FORBRYDELSER MOD PALÆSTINENSERNE:

Besættelse af palæstinensisk jord. Diskrimination og apartheid. Bygning af de ulovlige bosættelser og den ulovlige Mur inde på Vestbredden. Massakre på Gazas befolkning og den fortsatte belejring af Gaza. 

Det internationale samfund har alt for længe set passivt til og nægtet at vedtage sanktioner mod Israel. Derfor må vi reagere. Vi må boykotte Israel, vi må undlade at købe israelske varer i butikkerne, vi må opfordre til boykot af "sikkerhedsfirmaet" G4S og andre firmaer, der arbejder sammen med Israel. Den internationale boykot af Sydafrikas apartheid virkede. På samme måde vil vi med vores boykot lægge pres på Israel og isolere Israel.

No to Israel’s Participation in Eurovision Song Contest 2014! 
 
Again this year, Israel is participating in the Eurovision Song Contest. It takes place during the semifinals, Thursday the 8th of May in the "B&W Hallerne” at Refshaleøen in Copenhagen.
 
Israel is using cultural events for branding itself. The fact that Israel is participating is contributing to the whitewashing of Israel’s crimes against the Palestinians: 
 
Occupation of Palestinian land. Discrimination and apartheid. The construction of illegal settlements and the illegal apartheid-wall on the West Bank. Massacres on the population of Gaza and the continued siege of Gaza. 
 
For too long the international community has looked on passively and has failed to impose sanctions on Israel. Therefore we have to react. We have to boycott Israel; Stop buying Israeli goods, encourage to boycott the ‘security company’ G4S and other companies working with the Israeli apartheid state. The international boycott of South Africa worked. In the same way we want to pressure and isolate Israel.
